Welcome to Issue 24 of Think Fishing and this issue means we’ve now been going for 2 years and in that time Think Fishing has gone from strength to strength so thank you to all of you for your continued support. It’s been a bad month for fishing in general because of the cold weather and fishing has been patchy to say the least. In fact, it’s been so bad that this month was the first time ever we’ve had to reshoot Think Fishing because I failed to catch anything on the first attempt. It was heading that way on our second attempt too at Manor Farm Leisure, near Evesham, and after three and half of hours of fishing and only three small perch to show for my efforts, me and the camera crew were fearing the worst and were thinking that it just wasn’t going to happen… again!

But then the micro pellets came to the rescue and 20 minutes after feeding them on my pole lines I hooked a fish and then never really looked back. It was hard fishing though and generally bites were few and far between but when they came they were quality fish and by feeding carefully and swapping lines at the right times, I managed to put a few fish together and we ended up with a really good video for you with plenty of tips and advice to help you keep catching when it’s rock hard.
