Welcome to Issue 18 of Think Fishing. In this month’s issue I decided to head back to the venue where Think Fishing began: Tunnel Barn Farm.
I recently fished the Daiwa Pole Fishing Masters on the venue, which was held over three days and I missed out on winning the competition by just 2oz! I used very similar tactics on all three days and I thought this would make a great issue of Think Fishing, so you guys can see exactly how I approached this venue in the summer where the dominant species are F1s. What I’m showing you is my shallow aprroach with sloppy groundbait, which really does get those tricky F1s queuing up so you can catch them quickly and build a weight.
It was a brilliant and enjoyable session so I hope you all enjoy it. We even had decent weather for once!
